Thirty Pieces of SilverA Poem by JebYou decide...The Romans said to Judas, “You know all those words he said? Do really think any one will remember them after he is long dead? You’re legacy is here, in our hands and you just have to take it. For now you’re future is him but with us it is what you make it.”
Judas said to Jesus, “You know all those words we said? Do you think anyone will remember them after we’re long dead? Our legacy is here, in our hands, and all we have to do is take it. For now you’re future is Him but with me it is what you make it.”
“One of you will betray me.”
Jesus prayed to God, “You know all those words you said? Do you think anyone will remember them long after I am dead? You’re legacy is here, in my hands, and I don’t want to take it. For now you’re future is with me, but I don’t know how to make it.”
God said to Judas, “You know all those words you said? I know that all will remember them long after you are dead. You’re legacy is here in my hands, and now you will take it. For now you’re future is with me, and I know just how to make it.”

How does it feel? The silver in your hand. Is it worth it? Is it? Tell me how it feels. I wish I had it. How did you get it? Why are you weeping? You should be happy. You turned your back? On what? You’re life? Not so. Still you breathe. All morals? No. You seem a well enough man. The lives of others? They are not your own.
I would do anything for thirty pieces of silver.
How can you say no? You know me not. Are you giving this to me? What about your children? What do you mean they are mine now? Is this what you did? I see. Still, it hurts you so? Why are you still leaving? Hey! What a strange man.
