VictoryA Poem by JebA political commentary on the war that I wrote a while back... I had it on my old account that is dead now.Victory to the one who loses, Bishop tells the king his lies. Maybe you're a martyr or for whom the martyr cries
Fairy tails will lie to you, Cinderella is not your friend. If the slipper does not fit you may still meet your dying end.
The soldiers march two by two into the arc of their own flood, where the only wine that's left to drink is the wine of their own blood.
Victory to the one who loses, the queen supports her king, so that after their engagement they can share a tarnished ring.
The story is not finished because the battle is not yet done, the war that is not civil may last to the end our red sun.
It's not the place of others to fight for what's not theirs, for when the battle's over who will it be that cares? No one will remember the day the towers fell, only how the King corrupted it and made it his own hell.
