Saying Good-Bye

was thinking about mii grandpa when writing this R.I.P

You left us here with nothing but tears

Dont get me wrong we only cry because we miss you, you where in so much pain and Prayed that God would take your life and we all understood, you where oh so sick and tired of pain n takein meds to try and cure you.

I would look in to your eyes and see you only stayed for Grandma and the rest of us because you where ready to leave but all the same where not willing or ready to leave us all behind.

The morning i awoke to know that you had finally closed your eyes and where in your Enternal Peace I had to catch my breath i couldnt belive u where gone. I layed there and cried Tears of joy and sorrow for u where gone 2 meet our Great Savor that you where ready to meet,but my heart ached out for you,but ur heart is no where to b found.

But you see i was blind for your heart and things we shared where in each one of our hearts allways and for ever. i knw u dnt wanna See me cry bout u beening gone but i cant help it i close my eyes and think of you and u appear u hug me n smile n begain 2 fade away from me......i open mii eyes and cry because it seemed so real.

Im glad u are in that betta place and i knw God Placed his hands over you and take your breath away painlessly and i thank him for that.

I miss you Grandpa and i love u and i know u are with me every step of the way you are allways missed and thought about.

 

And i know one day i will meet u up at them Pearly Gates that will lead 2 Enternal Happiness and u will b there waiting for me with you hand out for me to take and a smile that can warm my heart.

So much raw emotion in here.. I truly hurts when we lose someone ... it hurts more when they stuggle in pain prior.. I know this too.. we wish for a speedy and peaceful end.. your writing is sad and reminds me of how one of my grandparents died.. they are all gone now and I miss then... but I look forward to seeing them again in a future lifetime reincarnated or up in heaven.. thank you for sharing!!! =)

This is a beautiful tribute to your grandpa, I only notice one typo 2nd line you have you where in so much pain, I think you meant to say were in so much pain. Still a wonderful poem, sorry for your loss.
