The voices

The voices

A Poem by Desiree Swendsen

Sitting in darkness,
the voices call out his name,
the house is empty.

Author's Note

Desiree Swendsen
I know this is not nature related despite the fact that is a haiku. It is for a project I am working on. I hope you enjoy and are encouraged to look at some of my other poems.

Nice little blazing moment of psychosis.

I've come across these amazing articles today, wonder if you're interested as a fellow (future-)psychologist:

haiku review requires math
not my strong area
but - haiku does not have to be about nature

(I call mine lowku and ignore the numbers)

haha I like "lowku" that's really cute and clever!
I think this's what you were feeling at the time when you were writin', it's not a poem, and not a haiku if i truly say (no offense..plz)...
it's merely your inner feelings...you know what this's real you made it from your heart...not write by your pen but write from your depth of life...
you know what...here from this piece what i felt, "one fella's sittin on this porch in a dark room n someone's callin' his name but when someone calls his name ...that fella doesn't reply to him/her,...because there's no one, there's only some voices...!
that's really what i got from here,
(may be this piece's based on you, the person on porch could be you)...

it's really very deep, but as you mentioned in your authors note that you're stull sorkin' on this stuffs n for your courage...to raise your courage...i wanna say that write more...lines on it, i'm really damn excited to read furthur lines...becausse your this poem really isn't complete yet...and in my view, it could be a nice story or chapter if you write....
it' could b a mystery here...if you write one chapter on it...
anyway...it was just my suggestion on it...depends on you whatever way you like to write in...

well penned, but write more
theme's powerful indeed...
have a nice writin' :)

I love this haiku! I'm very glad it wasn't nature related like most haikus. It's very original. It's ominous, and that's what I love. Great job.
