Mr. TeddyA Poem by Dshaman14Feeling Helpless at Times and hanging on through the help of Somethiong/somebody it may be human or non-humanI was awaken by a loud
shrill of siren And I found myself trapped
inside a glowing room I looked for a place to hide
but I can’t find any. At a small corner I found
myself a refuge. I hugged Mr. Teddy tight and
I found some security. I was calling Mama but no
one’s answering me. Papa left us and now who’s
gonna save me? Slowly I found myself
finding it hard to breathe. The tears slightly cooled
down my sweating face. My eyes soon find it hard to
open up. “Mr. Teddy, you’ll gonna
save me ain’t yah?” The lights getting nearer,
and it’s getting hotter. “Mr. Teddy please don’t
leave me, It’s only you that I have
got now.” I cuddled him closer as I
lay on the floor. At the last glimpse of him,
still he is smiling. “Thank you Mr. Teddy for not
leaving me.” Mr. Teddy was now very
dirty. I was hoping that he can
breathe. Because it seems now that I
can’t. The sounds of the siren’s
fading. My vision’s getting blurry. Slowly. Slowly. Everything’s black now. The siren’s gone. © 2010 Dshaman14Author's Note
