What IfA Poem by Zora BrasiiI was hoping they might have a 'rantings' or 'mind wanderings' selection for the type of writing choices for us to choose when adding writings, but sadly, they don't. This is just some of my rants.
Sometimes we wonder if this life is real.
What if everything around us is merely a reflection of something else that our brains can't process to let our eyes be able to see what it is. What if there is a completely and utterly astounding world around us but our brains prevent us from seeing it all? The brain makes images out of pictures of the images that aren't whole, and prevent us from seeing the faults. Our minds want the world to be perfect We all want the world to be perfect... If our eyes can accurately interpret the amount of distance from our fingertips to, say a tree, and our minds set the distance that it took to get from point a to point b in our brain, say it was embedded in our brains the first things we first touched when we were born. And for the rest of our lives, our minds taught us distances and we measure it automatically in our heads. What if it didn't actually match up to the object nearest to us, but we thought it did. So the parallel images that our brains won't let us see are actually in other locations but the distance system our brain has created stops us from seeing what is real? © 2015 Zora Brasii |
