What Can I Do?

What Can I Do?

A Poem by Jenna Marie

You left me here,
Broken and hurt.
Here I sit alone,
To contemplate on my thoughts.
Words were exchanged,
That were better off unsaid.
You left me here,
Without a doubt,
Broken and hurt.
All I've done is give,
And yet it is never enough.
What more can I do?
What more can I say?
Is distance the answer?
Or will it only make us drift apart?
I don't know what more I can do,
But sit here and wonder,
What I can do.

Good job in making your points come accross. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but just to give you some constructive criticism, you have too many comma splices. Otherwise, I would love to see all these thoughts flow together in unison. Try to use descripition through narrative, analogy, or nature. I love reading your poems. Do not dwell on the negativeness of life but focus on the love God has for you. Ethan
