In The Silence.

In The Silence.

A Poem by Jenna Marie

In the silence, my words go unspoken.
In the silence, my wounds reopen.
In the silence, my heart races.
In the silence, my fears only grow larger.
In the silence, I scream for you.
But, no words are spoken from another being.
Just the taunting demons that haunt me.
In the silence, I feel alone.
In the silence, I feel like giving up.
In the silence, I feel empty inside.
The darkness surrounds my every whim.
My only weapon to fight this darkness,
Is you.
Darling,
Don't leave me here alone in the dark.
Save me from this nothing I am soon to become.
Make me feel alive again.
Make me feel like holding on.
Make me feel like there is someone out there,
Who actually cares.
