Broken.

Broken.

A Poem by Jenna Marie

She holds into the palm of her hands,
Pieces of her faith, dreams and hopes.
Her fears are bleeding through her scars.
The pouring rain blends with her tears,
Her thoughts are wandering.
She wonders what she has done wrong?
What has she done to make these scars reopen?
She's tried to make things a beautiful dream.
But, it's ended up being the worst nightmare.

Wow... very sad, but very great to read. I enjoyed having the image in my head of a girl sitting outside in the rain and she's crying because of a broken heart. Everything this girl has done seems hopeless to her, because she gave it her all and got back nothing in return. I loved this piece. Very originally written.
