Sorrow.

Sorrow.

A Poem by Jenna Marie

Storm clouds high above my head.
Rain pours down washing away my tears.
Lightning strikes and the thunder roars.
An unexpected touch from the hands of him,
Makes my heart skip a beat.
I can't let him see my hopes and dreams are into pieces,
In the palm of my hands.
I can't let him see my fears peeking through my eyes.
I stand up and he holds out his arms.
I shake my head and begin to walk away slowly,
As the tears stream down my face.

How emotional....and deep. There is a lot of feeling behind this piece and it is beautifully written. You can really put yourself in the person's shoes...so touching. There are no words to describe how great I think it is. Nice use of image too. Well done.
