Empty Nights

Empty Nights

A Poem by Jenna Marie

These empty nights,
They only bring me closer to my dreamland.
These empty nights,
Bring me joy.
These empty nights,
Bring me closer to seeing that dark angel.
He's handsome, yet dreadful.
I should fear him, but, I don't.
He comforts me in his cold arms.
He whispers softly in my ear,
"Things are fine, nothing can hurt you now."
His voice, so elegant, so strong, so enchanting.
I close my eyes and he's gone.

I did not expect the "he's gone" Like your other poems I reviewed, it is beautiful, and very well done!
