HungerA Poem by Drone17A taste, was all it took.
Beneath the layers.
Under all the scars. Within all its glory, it lied pulsing and pounding. Beauty painted in red. He fought against the need. Yet the wound would only grow. An insatiable lust that he struggled to control. The cracks were showing in the mask that he called a face. Words that once came so easy, now died in his thirst. Feeling, thought, it all bleed to one. One single desire, overwhelming in its power. To consume, to devour, to take, and to keep. How wrong would it be, to just have a piece? Piece by piece, he fell, lost in his hunger. The weeps of his stomach louder that the cries of his meals. First went his heart, then fell his mind. Hollow to all but the demon inside. © 2016 Drone17Author's Note
