Smiles

Smiles

A Poem by Drone17
"

Smiles, smiles all around.

"
Smiles, smiles all around.

Flashes of white, glimpes of tears.

Their glittering eyes, their pounding hearts.

Hearts so pure, pure enough to eat.

Their screams fuel his art.

Their weeps give him life.

A life so sweet, with love so cruel.

A love fostered by wicked smiles and poisoned words.

A love birthed from hate and mistakes.

A black sheep who envied for more.

He'd show them piece by piece, sin by sin.

What love truly was.

I'm fascinated by serial killers, so I thought I'd write about one. Reviews would be nice!

It started out as a beautiful poem and then the dark stepped in and gave it a different feel. After reading your notes it cleared things up. Well done piece.
