Relationships

Your style is wonderful and so very expressive.
It is as I imagine you,
and I like that most,
that is to which I am most responsive.

Finally, a thin place in your curtain through which I squint to view a glimpse and yet I feel much you still hide.
And though I feel being less worthy,
you stingily but graciously confide.

Ignored are missteps that should dim for me
That the briefness that is you, distantly in a sparse room, yet absent is gloom, flickering, a lone candlelight.
Stumbles that should had squelched any hope of more view,
still strict rules we abide.

Always dimmed, always hidden a loving vision as you true,
what seen always blurred,
just beyond clear sight.

Instead with this happenstance,
it being only a balter, a misstep as to which you sweetly disguise.
You lead our relationship as to complete the intense rhythmic part of the late hour last dance.

As if this dance partner struggles with each maneuver, then guided as we closely caress the others' thighs.
You steady us upon the thin-lined of imaginary paths. Narrow they may be to keep keen a balance,
the proper stance.

Lest try not from your guidance
to allowed be asunder.
The next routine tango-like steps well known by you, you can't now accept more baltering, an inadvertently taken advance,
No, not another blunder.

Feelings may then become greatly sore as the targets of missteps across the floor, but really your partner's balters upon trying to assume the lead.

Then certainly rhythmic cheek to cheek maneuvers must ever to be but only in question.
What distance each to be held of considerable discretion.

Whether both ever again to rhythmic entwine, or
to even this final spin proceed.
Please, do take the lead.
