Paradoxal Love

Just a moment of love

Can spring up a million emotions

Emotions of grief and sorrow

Emotions of happiness and excitement

What complete opposites

But this emotion of love

The one the universe goes by

Allows us to write so many feelings

Create our own paths and destinies

Allowing us to live in our own whims and fancies

We define our own paradise

Just a world full of beautiful lies

But when the covering of the lie disappears

All we are left with is sorrow and distress

And we end up depressed

But we still end up loving

Loving with the same hope and faith

Waiting for a better day to come

Because it isn't the end, not yet

And someday it will all be great
