Moving On

Coming to grips with the topic of lost love

Ouch!! That's so hard to do

Just trying to be normal is so very endearing

And trying to be happy is so very distressing

But when we come to grips with that fact

We accept all of life's new challenges

And we feel strong and give a comeback

And feel strong when we need it most

In the end, all I can say

Is that the heart plays funny games

Moving on is the hardest thing to do

But it must almost be done with a smile.

Moving on,definitely is the hardest thing.Just when you think you have finally moved on,a sickening gloom descends.Sometimes I wish I could take a hose and wash my heart off all the pains! :P Great write though!Thank you :)

Exactly moving on is the biggest struggle a person can face but it has to happen if you are to ever to be whole again. Great poem!
