I Wish I Was Superhuman

This is a poem dedicated to everyone who loves their parents and their friends equally. But I hope you don't go through what is mentioned in this poem.

I wish I was at two places at one time

Where there are two awesome things going on

I wish I could celebrate two joyous occasions

Simultaneously at the same moment

I wish I was super human or a wizard

To just be there for everyone everytime

I wish I could be a part of everyone's joy

And convert that into my joy

But now I am just a human

A human who wants to do many things

As many others have stated, such a universal sentiment that you have put into words here. A want to be everything, to everyone, at every waking moment is something that I think we can all relate to. As you say, the desire to be superhuman is great, but also think of what that means to be human. Our ability to make that choice is perhaps far more interesting then our inability to be in all places at once. Perhaps what is special about our humanity, among numerous other things, lies in this choice, and the limits that time has placed upon us all. An intriguing and thought provoking piece. Thanks for sharing it.

Very well written! We all feel that way I think (at least I do!). It's good to recognize that the unobtainable is not necessarily your fault but are mere limits in what you have to work with.
