I need to change to fit in

My excitement must loosen

I must have an attitude

I hope I don't find myself rude

Change is hard, we agree

Change is nature, we agree

But I am compelled for a sudden change

To fit in with this world, I must change

I don't know if I am being absurd

I don't know if I am a young t**d

But I can't be someone I am not

A person I might hate a lot

My changed soul may go to the devil

It currently doesn't sound that evil

Otherwise this overwhelmed friend

Might lose out everyone in the end

i feel that change often comes natural and the one that changes usually doesnt realize it. But i do agree to the fullest extent that "trying" purposely to change may be very difficult. :/

I felt that need that often arises to be something you're not... to do whatever it takes to fit in... and then the understanding that you must find acceptance just as you are. So many face this every day, and you've communicated it with honesty.
