The Overwhelmed Friend

Another story of my life, which shows my own personality and how does it act as a barrier when I am trying to improve my friendship with the other.

I know I am a little overwhelmed

With friendship and with love

I know I am too excited

With new people around me

I know I must control it

Because I might lose out on them

I know that its not easy

But for the society I must do it

But you should know that I am afraid

Of losing you as a friend

It is like a thousand daggers in my heart

When you don't return my call

I know I am not the best socially

But you should know I care

I won't say that I am THE best friend

But I can say that I am a friend who cares
