Sudden Sadness

This is a feeling which has become a daily affair for me. Happiness and sadness, both important feelings in our life, but doesn't that feeling have to have a reason to it.

This sudden sadness I feel

I don't the reason why

But this sadness is real

It hurts the heart

Is it for a lost love

Who could never be mine

Or is it because of some memories

Which will always be missed

Is it for a lost cause

Which still hasn't been solved

Or is it a Dream Deferred

Which is completely eating me

Why this sudden sadness

Please tell me God

Why this feeling of melancholy

Its so completely unholy

I always want to smile

Never want to cry

But this sadness in involuntary

The only I can't control
