The World As Kids

The World As Kids

A Poem by Dushyant Thadani
"

I could just imagine this and I get a little smile on my face. Nothing funny, nothing out of the ordinary, just a simple plain description.

"
As a kid I could do anything
And people couldn't say a thing
Just think if that could stay
Wouldn't that change life's way
And would begin a new era
With everyone as a little fella'
No pressure of being the best
Just a life of sitting back to rest
Problems now is another synonym
For loss of life's rhythm
And as kids those are lost
The world becomes a host
For as many kids possible
No pressure deleting the word impossible
The world would get so psych
And just so carefree as we define life
No bickering couples
Who want to break the companionship of mixed doubles
No pressure from the society
Just an opportunity of being me
No case of suicides
That would end life's joy ride
Just a simple unexpected life
I wish that would be mine

Great poem. A wonderful ray of light. If we could all just capture that light we had back then.
