Love - A Feeling

Love is the most misunderstood emotion

An emotion mistaken for greed

A greed for having a person all for yourself

That true love needs to be true only to one soul

To me love actually is an emotion surpassing all

One that gives us a real chance to allow and accept

One that ensures that we see greatness in the other's hearts

One that respects one's greed and allows that one to grow

It is a beautiful emotion that isn't defined

With a person you are emotionally involved with

Or the societal confines that bounds the relationship

It is a feeling that makes me feel light and wonderful

I'm lucky to say that I've found such a love

And I don't regret that there isn't a love story behind it

It's just a wonderful story of friendship

Which makes me feel so very happy and proud of it
