Life of an Average Man

Multitudes and magnitudes of moments

Some are happy, some are sad

Others are way beyond that

Cannot be clearly defined

If life is such, they say we've

Lived a simple life of an average man

Who fed his family, kept himself well

And was wealthy by the time he became weary

Such is a life without much risk

And a life which a man is safe and fit

As he sits in front of his computer every day

And measures his dimes to keep troubles at bay

Such a life is safe, no doubt

Kids are well fed, and you are insured

But then there could be that emptiness inside

That could eat you for the rest of your life.
