TerribleA Poem by DrippingSkies
Everyone’s at a terrible party,
a terrible reason that they are there. Packed into a terrible room, trying to escape it all. But they are together, laughing, talking, with terrible smirks upon their faces. I pick the terrible call on my phone, thinking it is a terrible situation, but all I hear is terrible jokes and terrible smiles. My terrible presence isn’t needed. Not to lighten the terrible mood. My terrible feelings and terrible personality, only make it so much more terrible. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. A terrible sense of humor, terrible way of communicating, terrible way of making everything about my- terrible, terrible self. That’s the effect of my terrible presence. It doesn’t matter that I’m not there. It’s terrible either way. But at least they are all together, laughing, talking, smirking, at a terrible party, all terrible together. © 2017 DrippingSkiesAuthor's Note
