Lost In The SeaA Poem by DrippingSkiesA repetitive cycle of blues
Lost, am I, in the sea,
the tides pull me in and I drown. The sea sometimes stares back at me, but its shimmering waves never touch land unless it's down. But, some days, it's image is that of a sky, and when it sees me it's winds whip around, the breezes lift me up high, but, as it glances away, I fall back to the ground. The image may change from day to day, but the canvas will remain the same. And every time, I will get taken by the breeze, and lost in the sea, I will remain. © 2017 DrippingSkiesAuthor's Note
