Thoughts of a CloudA Poem by David ScottIt is a cloudy grey day and I felt like channeling a cloud... or maybe letting a cloud channel me...Thoughts of a Cloud
I am there in the glimmering morning the weight of dreamless nights burning away in the warmth of your love a Smokey Mountain mist.
Between your eye and a faint yellow glow I live an ever transforming landscape floating beyond reason until your imagination gives me form.
Billowing pillows of cotton like softness sweet as cream whipped and layered upon the tartness of your tongue I wait to be tasted
A chill pushes me upward mushrooming thunderheads rumble electric in proximity to you I become a downpour quenching a lusting thirst
I am still here a grey sheeted greenhouse humidity, glued to the tree tops longing to ascend to the heavens embraced in the warmth of you
My love for you will show look up… look out upon the painted sky I live in the blue eyes of a clear sky refracted in all the colors condensed within your dreams © 2014 David ScottReviews
