Very well done and great view of a writer's sometime dilemmas. Either a flowing faucet I cannot stop or an empty vessel awaiting filling. Thank you for a lovely piece.

You use personification perfectly in this piece. I love the line "on wings of feather Quill." I have always enjoyed to read a poem which allows me to imagine imagery which is flowing in this piece. I like the humbleness in the line "Now, I will confess." All together, I like the word flow and the tapping of the heart throughout these lines.

I was inspired by a conversation with my friend and writer on the WC by the pen name of ~Quill.
She is very provocative in her writing, but just a regular gal IRL I think. You would enjoy her work.
I feel as though I received communion or something with this one Scott. It's certainly a breath of fresh air...we do tend to ascend somewhere in the clouds when we purge our souls here. I love this one to pieces...taking another breath.

You give so much here and I think you for your investment of poetic expression shared here.
Is this not what communion means? I think so...
"Now, I will confess.
You write the air.
My aching need finds a moment's rest.
Joyously I fly in the poetry,
On wings of feathered pen.
Resting in the condensation of meaning."
Wow David - I adored this, this has to be the best poem you've written; it is so relatable. The imagery and wording is utterly brilliant. You have honestly left me speechless.

Well, I glad I did not leave you "typeless" or I might never have known if you enjoyed the poem. ha.
Poetry does feel like the very oxygen of the atmosphere some days...
Other days, it feel like a warm meal with mamma's perfect sauces.
Always, it feels like a happier place when "Noodles" gets involved!
Much love and thank you very much.

I'm mesmerize by your piece David. Its wonderfully deep . I'm in awed with your ability to write in free verse yet its flow and run like a calm stream. Panting for air and panting for words to pen...Your Quill relent...

I was inspired by her friendship. No storm in these moments! :)
Just write it down and it will find its way.
Certainly, this resonates with me. Many of my poems are product of quick writes - written in the middle of works, while travelling and/or whenever and wherever my muse strikes -- I write. Notebook is truly a constant companion. The only way to capture the very soul of our thoughts, of our feelings, of our experiences et al is to just write them down with our heart and not with our mind. Mind only comes on the later part, on the editing part when it is time to put my poetry on a formal paper.
Thank you for sharing this, dear poet.

I use my I phone a lot. At work I have a computer in my office do I can jot down ideas from time to time. Poetry has helped me deal with stress and anxiety as well as open up my heart and mind since I was a young teen.
Glad to meet you. Keep writing! :)
Much like you...
Still, I can only ever be to you what you are willing to see of me. This is true of us all.
May we learn to see the best in each other.
