Le Blanc

Le Blanc

A Poem by David Scott
"

One of my favorite resorts...

"

Le Blanc curtains dance,

Seductive and unpredictable.

Fixation  ~   a hidden history  ~  valences truth.

Caribbean breezes…

Thick with salty evaporate,

Sheer  ~ Twirled and twisted ~   delicately draped.

Persistent urging tosses with youthful abandon,

Wanting is as a distant echo of the calling gulls.

Blowing  ~ balance tipping~  in enthusiastic swaying.

A crystal clear wall of refracting dreams,

Topples over and tangles in millions of moments

Billowing ~ momentum rises ~ tumbling over.

Satisfactions surfing in a rip tide flurry of jubilant displacement.

Time deposited sands creating the beach of our lives.

Foaming breakers ~ tangled reaching ~ across millions of moments.

Yesterday dreams visualized in shades of black and white,

Today shine in digital, high definition orbs of color,

Wrapped ~ naked perfection ~  in Le Blanc lace.

A favorite coastal retreat, providing many things in life and rejuvenation is one of the best. To recharge our own energy levels. Nicely done. Beautiful imagery.

The whole read had me mentally standing in a warm, salty Caribbean breeze! You've definitely crafted such a fine, beautiful piece of writing! And so elegant and soothing, I'm almost shocked I didn't pass out with how involved you made this piece to encompass the reader! It's so beachy and vacation-esque, I'll have to read this when I, in real life, can't go on vacation! Haha. Very great piece, David!

This is a mystical laced vacation of mental creativity. Turning the senses into a poetic caption and floating the reader off into this sensual dream state. Kinda like watching videos of a place I only wish I had been to...wink. I find this a mantra of quiet, emotive, and yet engaging meditation. I love the breeze of it. felt it touch my spirit :)

This poem seems to balance somewhere between urgency and relaxation. I could sit here for an hour trying to figure out the hidden meanings, but I'll just take these dancing words and run. Thanks for a marvelous read

Pardon me, I meant another of my fishy tales.
Is it almost time? I'm jealous! :D just kidding, this sounds so wonderful... and I'm so happy you will be there with the fam, to relax and enjoy the fullest... I love love your last stanza, it is the moment you shall awake in a new world, on that special place. You already wrote the future... great piece.
