Right

Right

A Poem by Serene

A cross road begins,
here,
now,
The time is undecided.

Right, the trees outline the worn out snow.
One step, brings a smile to the face.
The wind calmly rotates in the air, whispering lullabies, tunes that many others yearn and plead.
The sun peeking out from a drape of white dull, shining brightly, hoping to be seen,

Two steps, a twig breaks from underneath her,
she loses her sanity,
she scared herself for a second there,
she looks behind her accusingly,
hesitating,
wanting to go back,
But staying,
addicted to the warming of her eyelids.
She's terrified now,
her feet will not obey,
the wind carries on,
pushing her over the top.
Blurring her eyes,
continuing to sing those sweet lullabies.
A gentle and innocent push was that caused her to sail with the wind.
Being guided through the soul,
and out of the body.
