4. Rory and Phantump

The team all meet up after blasting off but they meet the strange character, Rory, who is hunting for a Phantump.

Suddenly Ryan, Ditto and Vikavolt woke up in a forest.

“Where are we?” Ryan asked the Pokémon.

As Ryan said that a random boy walked up to the child and the Pokémon.

“Hello young child” The boy said “I’m Rory”

Ryan stepped backwards as Ditto and Vikavolt got ready to protect him.

“I ain’t gonna attack you” The boy laughed.

Professor Acacia opened her eyes and figured out where she was; she was in the local playground. She looked around and spotted Metagross, Kieron, Katie and Sylveon.

“My head hurts” Kieron moaned.

“You’ll be okay, we need to find the others” The professor stated.

 Connor, Marcia, Josh, Abigail and the rest of the Pokémon woke up on top of a tree. They looked down and spotted Ryan.

Abigail looked at him and shouted “Ryan up here…”

Suddenly the branch they were on collapsed and fell onto the people below.

“Didn’t mean to fall in on you” Josh joked.

“Not funny” Ryan replied.

The Professor, Kieron, Metagross, Katie and Sylveon appeared round the corner and ran towards Connor.

“I missed you!” Kieron shouted at Connor and Ryan, hugging them.

“Awe” Katie sighed, “Brotherly love”

“Where are we?” Josh asked.

“And who is that random boy?” Marcia added, pointing at Rory.

“No idea” Ryan said scratching his head.

“I come from the breeding centre from around the corner” Rory explained “A young Phantump escaped and is on the loose”

“Phantump…” Abigail exhaled “The grass and ghost type!”

“That’s it” Rory pointed out.

Suddenly a Phantump appeared on top of Metagross.

“Umbreon…” Connor quietly said.

One out of the three Umbreons walked up to Connor and nodded.

“Use Dark Pulse!” Connor shouted.

Umbreon jumped around and released a huge amount of dark energy. It flew over and hit Phantump. Suddenly Rory chucked a Pokéball at it.

It shook once…..

It shook twice…..

It shook a third time…..

The ball made a pinging sound, signalling the capture was a success!

“Ahaha” Rory snickered.

“Wait…. What just happened?” Abigail asked.

“You helped me capture a Pokémon for my… Evil team” Rory shouted.

Suddenly Rory ripped of his jumper, revealing a Team Plasma uniform.

The gang gasped.

“Go Magneton!” Rory shouted as he threw a great-ball into the air, releasing a Pokémon that looked like three Magnemite stuck together.

“Infernape! Help me out” Connor shouted.

His Infernape popped up from behind the gang and landed in front of them.

“Electro Ball!” Rory shouted.

“Counter it with Flamethrower!” Connor immediately shouted after.

As the fire monkey and electronic magnet started to fight, two girls around their age watched from around a corner. They stood behind a few trees covered with vines and moss.
