Blood Pools, Hatred Reins pt 1

Blood Pools, Hatred Reins pt 1

A Poem by DreyaArt
"

A poem/story that I will be continuing. And I hope you like it

"

Standing at the edge,

Tears tracing a path down my face,

Soft breezes tease my hair,

The wire I hold in my hand digs into my skin.

Cold sky opens to rain.

Black abyss lay before me,

Loving angry family stand behind me.

No one speaks,

Because no one cares.

They see,

Whisper behind my back,

Secrets fill my soul.

Blood pools on the bridge,

Filling the void of color in the world.

Who am I?

To them I am information,

Disapointment to some,

Frustration and betrayal to others.

Words of hatred ring in my ears,

Deafening them.

Their eyes are blind to the suffering of eachother,

Hearts are frozen in defense of love,

Fire burns in their souls.

Who am I?

To them I am dead,

To me,

I am

lost...

Wonderful. "Hearts are frozen in defense of love" I really like that.
This poem paints quite a family portrait.
