The winter snow fall

The winter snow fall

A Poem by Drew Peterson
"

winter snow falling from the sky

"

Cold so

Cold can’t keep

Warm trying to keep warm

Rubbing my stiff hands together

Trying to feel a spark of warmth.

Feeling the crispy cold air blow through

Me and stays close to

the bone.

Can’t keep warm with thus old ratty hat

Can’t keep warm with this old jean jacket.

Standing on my

Court yard

Watching that emotionless fluffy snow hit the ground

Watching it shin against the

Glow from the setting sun.
