Butterfly

Why does a butterfly fly away.

Little bird little bird fly away,

Little bird little bird don't cry today.

Little bird little bird fly fly away,

The world has finally awaken to you.

Little bird little bird  sing your sad sad tune,

Little bird little bird  I'm here for you.

A butterfly I may be but you are mine,

Little bird little bird  don't leave me behind.

The skies turn gray when you don't sing,

The clouds drip rain like tears on my wings.

Little bird little bird  sing your sad sad tune,

Little bird little bird  I'm here for you.

 

Butterfly butterfly fly away,

Fly to the place where the horses play.

Butterfly butterfly fly home soon,

Fly to the place thats waiting for you.

Butterfly butterfly fy home today,

Fly to the place where the green grass grows gray.

Butterfly butterfly fly fly away,

fly to the place where the bufflo stay.

Butterfly butterfly fly home soon,

fly to the place that misses you.

Butterfly butterfly fly home to day,

fly home to the place where your bird does stay.

This poem is beautiful. I love the first stanza and the concluding line perfectly sums it up. They are beautiful winged friends :)
