Waiting waters

Waiting waters

A Poem by DRD
"

A spin on Robert Frost and Edgar allan Poe.

"

From time to time,

I stop and look.

I listen for a sound,

of a still running brook.

From heart to heart,

I stop and listen.

I look for a soft pale moon,

that make running waters silver glisten.

A broken heart I feel,

waiting for tears forgotten.

a single tear fate does seal,

I wait, I wait.

For time and heart to heal.
