EyesA Poem by DRD![]() A poem about how no one can truely see everything.![]() Though these eyes have seen so little. They see the truth that lies do hide. Forever bound to hide the secrets. No law shall they abide.
As I watch you, I see the truth. Awaiting my return, a message from you. I see your lies bound by chain, strong yet breakable. How do you plead, when I say good-bye A strength that hides a weakness. The body that has been broken. A soul that no longer exists. The gift of sight which is nothing more than a token. When I see nothing. A tear leaves my never watering eye. The hint of what I feel. That never leaves my inside.
