She clung to what she knew,

Never letting go of what she loved,

Yet also reached out into

The dark to grasp the unfamiliar.

While with one eye she always

Focused upon the present –

Living in the moment,

Enjoying the sweet, dewy smell

Of the proverbial roses –

With the other she gazed

Into the future and marveled

At the wonders that were possible.

She always looked within herself

For the answers to life’s questions,

Yet she meticulously studied and

Psychoanalyzed those around her.

While she was known to be stubborn

And stuck in her monotonous ways,

She listened to every opinion

And found everything understandable.

She was in essence a calm person

Who always flowed with the tide,

But she had a tendency to be

Annoyed and mordant very easily.

Though she relied on logic and reason,

She was often swept away by

Life’s random moments of beauty.

She had no patience for dreamers,

But sometimes at night she would

Fall into the trap of the unreal.

The greatest trouble that she knew

Was choosing between what she had

And what she wanted to have,

And she hated this decision,

But the funniest thing was that

She also defined her life by it.

again all i see here are words about you ,the strangest thing at the very last ,you say you are not a dreamer ,i dont see how is that,you tell of contradictions here while enjoying life beauties,you relied on logic and reason,ans while you rejoiced in the present and the beauties that come with it ,you always thought of the future and the wonders in it,i just know these feelings ,i have live it a lot,i am always at war from within about where shall i go and things i could do ,whether to be part of this life or just an onlooker and dreamer of what may other things will bring,i really love this piece it will make me think a lot ,what me and whats this around and whats happening and why,i could go on forever asking these question ,yet i know there is no answer...
