A Poem by Dressed in Poetry

Made by taking lines from other works and throwing them together.

I choose love.
All I loved, I loved alone.
Let me so love
At the gate of Bethlehem.
I continued my sprint
With an autumn tint of gold.
I’m never gonna tell a lie or hurt you.
We could live through these letters.

Why do we fantasize?
A magician will practice his performance for years.
Living out these lies,
This broken reality.

Thou wouldst be lov’d.
There’s one thing I can do nothing about:
A demon in my view,
Tapping at my chamber door.
