Dark Corridor

Dark Corridor

A Poem by Dreaming-Demon

Puzzle placement passed perceiving
mazes mirror morbid mind.
Dark and deep the dreams are weaving
consciousness conceives the crime.

Corridors construct confusion
worn and weary writhing eyes.
Sift through thought of some delusion
some escape inside the lies.

Master madness as it's peaking
fractured fragments in decay.
Find the answers ever seeking
In the soul they solely lay.

Puzzle placement pushed persuading,
muzzle masking mortal mind.
In the maze forever waiting
In the shape of humankind.

Excellent work. I like how this poem illustrates us in society. Honestly, each person has their own individual maze to deal with in their lives. Sometimes we subconsciously go down the same path more than once because its familiar. The hard part is solving the maze and exiting the corridor, but that time is truly different for everyone. This is another poem of yours that makes people think. Keep up the work!

I really like the flow of this poem, creepy and dark mood, but a sweet lyrical tone. Kind of like song lyrics! Great word choice as well, I love the line "in the maze forever waiting In the shape of humankind". Very interesting piece, from what I'm getting it's about the dark side of life or darkness in someone's mind (let me know if you were trying to convey something else!) Great work though, can't wait to see more :)
