I lost you

I lost you

A Poem by Dreamii
"

This is told from the view of a girl who's boyfriend has recently died, through a fault of her own. Of course, you could tell it as if she had just broken up with him, I don't care, really.

"

You were my rock, the one I could hold on to when I was swept up in the tide, in the ocean of life.

You were my beam, the one I could hang from when the ground was far beneath my feet, when I was scared of falling.

You were my sky, the one I could look up too and think, “Life’s perfect,” and not have to worry about things.

You were my saviour, the one who caught me when I fell, the one who told me to get up again.

And I lost you, because of my own, selfish heart.

Beautiful !

My fondest wish is that you find your Rock .

Words fail me, this is romantic, ethereal, sweet.
Thank you for this treat.

it was very nice indeed ... especially the end where you lost the person because of your "own, selfish heart" ... very well done ...
