Chapter 1

It was long before my best friend Haley died. They found her body in a train only a block away from my house sometimes i still think i should have never let her walk home alone but she was so sure she would be ok. Besides she liked being alone at night to talk on the phone with her boyfriend i always guess. She always talked to him while walking home because she never really had privacy at her own house which i always thought of. My parents never knew she was way older then me, that she was 28. If they did i wouldn't be able to see her again which would have brought me to tears. Haley was my best friend she was always there for me not matter what to be honest shes the reason why i made it to ninth grade. It may sound weird but i met her in a dream at the clerk water park then few days later there she was in reality we talked like we knew each other. Few months later she invited me over her house which was feel of other people she said they were close friends but i never understood why they couldn't get a house of there own. I just guess im to young to understand at the moment. Im to young to understand anything so everyone says.

 The sun shined threw my window, it was  Monday the day of the funeral. Quickly i leaned up and pinch the bridge of my nose, leaned my head back and tried my best not to let myself cry. Not to show weakness. When i felt the string in my nose go away i opened my eyes and headed for my closet to get my white dress then made my way to the bathroom. I stopped at the top of the staircases right across from the bathroom due to voice down in the living room.

 " -the phone was in the ally Miss.. we went threw the calls and her messages which don't make any sense  at all" I squinted my eyes it sounded like a males voice but it was to high pitched.

 " What do you mean they don't make sense? You told us our daughters name was mentioned in one of them right? WELL WHAT DID IT SAY!" Really i never heard my dad scream or get angry before so i knew this must have been important i walked down a little and peeked. It was a tall dark man standing in the living room entrance he had long braids and was dresses in uniform. The other man was tan kinda or maybe sun burn, he had short curly hair that only reaches his chin and he looked short, chubby maybe if he wasn't sitting.

 " Well the only message that had her name in it just talked about how the other person wasn't gonna see her after that it shows that, that person called her..now Miss, Sir i don't know what this is about but just watch out for her make sure nobody you don't know comes around her. For now we have to go, need to look for more clues. Have a nice day."

 I quickly walked into the bathroom and shut the door quietly. Leaning against it i let out a long breath and it my lip. A few moments later i went to the tub and turned the water on hoping that a hot shower wouldn't relax me at least a bit.

 Looking at Haley's body inside the casket almost made me want to throw up she had scares all over her face and her body just so pale and lifeless laying there. So badly i wanted to go and smack her awake that maybe she was just playing a sick joke but deep down inside i knew she wasn't, that this was it she was really gone. I walked away from the crowed in the graveyard and went at least a few feet away from them and under a big tree. I leaned against it and felt the tears start up once again in my eyes this time i wasn't about to stop them i was gonna let them come expose me of being weak but they didn't as much as i wanted them to they didn't. Slowly i looked back at the crowed and saw a person turned around in the center of them he was facing me looking dead at me. Tilting me head a little to the side i  stared back he wasn't to far away for me to see that he didn't really fit in he wasn't even dressed for the funeral he had on skinny jeans, a 30 seconds to mars band shirt on his hair was covering only one of his eyes. He was to pale he looked lifeless just like Haley but he was standing there with the others looking at me. All of a sudden i felt dizzy, lightheaded i looked to the ground finally looking away from him. A moment later a sharp pain went threw my head it felt like it was going threw my brain i pushed myself up and tried to make myself back to the crowed, to my parents but then i saw the guy running towards me. Screaming i tried to run away from him but everything went dark, pitch black around me everyone was gone, there was nothing but darkness surrounding me.
