Hollywood

Hollywood

A Poem by Brigitta Beam
"

Me expressing my feelings about Hollywood and those in it.

"

In this place called

Hollywood
Images are everything
Smoke and lights
Rule this little world
Run by fakers
Who decide trends and fads
Media thrives off
Those poor people
Trapped in the web of lies
Surrounding Hollywood
The pain in their lives
Hidden behind walls of
Deceit
Ruling the lives of those
‘Beautiful’ people
Living the ‘good life’
So society sees their
‘Perfect’ lives and
Some want to be just like
Those in Hollywood
Whose wounds are
Deeper than their
Appearance
Deeper than the
Words flowing from
Their beautiful mouths
These wounds tear them
Apart from
Inside out
And little do the
Spectators know what
Really goes on inside them
So one question
Who would want all of that?
