Charlie's Mom

By the afternoon it was time to head back to the city, and as Tanya was packing her things she just couldn’t help herself on keep staring at that beautiful ring she was now wearing, and of course Charlie couldn’t stop smiling and thinking about his future life with that wonderful woman he loved.

After almost three hours they finally arrived at Tanya’s house, Charlie helped her to get her all her things inside the house, but it was really early in the morning and she didn’t wanted to wake up Mandy, so they both were just whispering while they were inside the house “I think Mandy is sleeping, I don’t want to wake her up, see you tomorrow?”

“Sure sweetie” said Charlie and gave her a kiss. “I love you Charlie”, “I love you too”.

Later in the morning, Tanya was still sleep when Mandy woke up to make some breakfast and to feed Glen, and since she couldn’t wait for Tanya to wake up and tell her all about the trip, she went to her room and woke her up, “Tanya?, wake up!” she told her as she was touching her arm, but she could barely open her eyes from her tiredness, and as Mandy was insisting about knowing about the weekend, Tanya just showed her, the engagement ring, and Mandy screamed all excited “Oh my god!” , she screamed so loud that Tanya finally woke up, “He finally did it?” Mandy asked Tanya, “Yes, he did, it was really sweet”, “And what did you said?”, “If I have the ring on my finger…?”, “Sure, sorry, it’s just Oh my god! I feel so happy for you two!”.

Meanwhile Charlie was at his home and he wanted to call his mom who lived in Europe, to tell her about the engagement:

“Hey mom, how are you?”

“Charlie! I’m glad to hear you, you haven’t call me lately”

“I know, sorry, I’ve been kind of busy, but how’s everything there?”

“It’s great the weather here is cloudy all the time, it reminds me of Seattle”

“Good, listen mom, I want to tell you something “

“What is it honey?”

“Why don’t you come for a vacation?”

“Oh, I would love to, but I can’t”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, you will miss a family wedding”

“Family wedding? It’s your cousin Adrian finally getting married?”

“No mom, it’s my wedding”

“Yours? You and Tanya are finally getting married? Oh Charlie! I’m so happy!”

Charlie’s mom now have changed her mind and for nothing in the world she would miss her son’s wedding, not to mention she loved Tanya really much, because she truly loved her son, and after all as a mom, all she wanted was a good wife for him.
