A poem dedicated to the struggles of love, of change, and so much more. (Open to interpretation)
Solid white, endless night,
They clash at the river’s end one hot, one cold,
two people, two spirits, not willing to bend for our sake or for
the world around us, all falling apart and we can’t see anything, not even their wounds, scars on
our hearts
An inescapable maze, always running, always waiting on the other to make our move, speak our minds Holding onto a relationship possibly worth saving, Two hearts move forward, not stopping to look
behind
All we see is pain when looking back anguish, hate, fear, and so much more that we don’t
want to face our hardened hearts, turned cold, defensive, and
black we run away, seeking shelter, our only safe place
I push, you pull, we’re ever in an eternal dance only to find that there is no room to breathe where is the love, the passion, the intoxicating
romance it held us together, tore us apart, causing us to
bleed
And yet we still seek it, here, now, we stand ready to give It our all just once , this last time to speak throughout hearts, a whisper, not a demand so that we may learn to live, to love, easing our
restless minds
I’ll hold on, against my judgment, to see that
freedom once more I’ll do anything, reach out to you, cross this
barricade the one we built those years ago, with hearts
stubborn to the core so that we can change the past, wash away the
stains, the mistakes made
I feel your breath, so close, so warm, easing over
my skin The sound of silence coming forth in waves, ringing
in our ears The night is won, we’re free at last, the end a
prize to win but the morning comes and you’re not here, the
proof is in my tears
You’re lost to me, have been for so long, heart
cold and misplaced I’ve tried to reach you time and time again, but
fall back, uncertain of how you are, where you’ve been, if our memories
have been erased because I can’t see past your invisible mask, can’t
lift time’s dusty curtain
I need you now as I needed you then, desperate to
hold onto our past and in my desperation, I scream, your name, steel
daggers impaled within my shattered heart, my hopes, my dreams too
good to last because you’re gone, always will be, you’ve
changed, and I’ve failed
I enjoyed this. The contrast is very nice. Sometimes I write random poetry too, that doesn't relate to myself. I think the words are simply inside of me and I should share them, whether they are personal or not. Great Poem. You should review some of my work, if you don't mind. :)

I've always thought I was going to do something else but then I just started writing again, letting everything just pour out into a word document or on pape. It was so easy... I didn't think this kind of thing was easy. Going to remove some stuff dealing with my mini novel and repost the current stuff I have :) Thanks for reading, much appreciated.

Hi Everyone,
I'm starting to realize that my passion, while hidden for so long, lies in the written word, as opposed to the voice, art, or anything else. I didn't think i wanted to become a writer,.. more..
