Achilles

Achilles

A Poem by TheRaven
"

The great contradiction.

"

A thunderous storm

Roaring with rage and fury,
Yearns for peaceful end.

Wow. You said a lot in those few words. Nice job.

This can be symbolic of life, but there will always be opposition of things to make us braver and stronger.

no rust...literally with a thunderstorm, we wait it out hoping for a peaceful end...but it is the same with war, with riots, with mass shootings---we try to survive and we wish for a peaceful calm...
yet we know that another thunderstorm will come sooner rather than later...with the climate of Mother Nature, or the climate of the world...it is always wait and see.

Meaningful and thought provoking.
You have explained the contradiction in a compact form...well done
