Heaven SinA Poem by CerebriationJust a random bit of thought. Kind of humorous. AP
Standing at the pearly gates,
With cocaine in my eyes. A basket filled with goodies, And something fun in mind. Nestled neatly down inside my basket, Things that heaven hasn't seen. A fresh bottle of whiskey, Psychedelics, pills, and green. Patiently I wait for him, To kindly let me in. What would a Heaven party be, If not spotted with sin? Those angels need a little fun, A party on the side. Lets make Heaven quite ironic. Buy the ticket. Take the ride. What, spirits don't inebriate? I cannot bring it in? Eternity outside the gates? Me and my basket filled with sin? Oh, you know a couple drunken angels, Would surely be a sight. Can I bring my basket in with me, If only for the night? I'd like to see a few apostles, Smoke a little weed. How epic, oh, the conversation. Quite hilarious, indeed. St. Peter, please, try and relax. Close your eyes and just imagine. If Jesus dropped some LSD, What would be his reaction? Okay, I guess I'll stop right here. I've gone too far. I'll say no more. If you let me slip on through the gates. I'll leave the basket at the door. © 2016 CerebriationAuthor's Note
