Indoctrination pt. I

Indoctrination pt. I

A Poem by Cerebriation

We grow in many different ways
We come in different packing
They tell us that we have to change
They show us what we're lacking

They teach us all to learn the same
They frown on standing out
We learn that we should fit the bill
We shouldn't sing and shout

We learn what fits the bottom line
We learn nothing of use
We learn only to bow and nod
We just conform, there's no excuse

They teach us that their ways are final
We learn our thoughts are wrong
They say if we don't pass this test, we're dumb
They can't survive if we are strong

When the strife reaches a breaching point, the resistance is born. The more they shape us into something we're not, the stronger we become to unshape the hands that mould us into their desired image. Message was powerful and well received.

You're a wise man today.

Conscious change is cancer to certain kinds of powerfully entrenched people.

Well done, well written.

Well-written and decently delivered message. This reminds me of Aldous Huxley a bit, "freedom to be miserable and unhappy, liberty to be a round peg in a square socket". It should be our choice.
