Understanding Why?

this was an assignment a few years bck just found it and it had no name, so the name is well id random i guess

I don't understand why people must be so racist,

althouh we've been culturaly diverse for so long.

Why don't they just shut up and deal with it?

It's hard to beleive anyone when no one seems

to tell they truth anymore.

 

Poverty smells like uncooked meat rotting in the fridge,

because no one has the mpney to pay for power or gas.

 

Wanting what i cannot have tastes like alcohol,

that burns your thoart but leaves you wanting more.

 

The future is as invissible as a glassdoor,

You may see things through it but are never really for sure they are there.

Injustice feels like a hole in the middle of the road,

it's wrong and just not supposed to be there.

 

Believing in yourself is as hard as a rock,

exspecially when people say "you cannot do it.'

 

Disappointment breathes like a fat kid with asthma,

he can't do it anymore and just gives up.

 

Hatred destros like 9/11,

one group hating another creating a war and destroying homes and families.

 

Fear creeps into the room like a demeanted child,

with the creepy laugh that crushes you the instantyou hear it.

 

If you would only listen to whay i say,

you would understand why i feel so displaced in this dysfuncational world
