BeginningA Poem by DreamCastorI have chosen to take a poetic side of things.I saw with eyes that felt no emotion, The beginning of something beautiful, I couldn't put words to it, for none would suffice, The mark upon my heart deepened.
I could not display exactly my thoughts, I could not show you how it made me feel, My stomach fluttered, hastily hoping, Drowning me in a sea of rainbows.
You and me, entwined together, Wrapped in a swirling tornado, None could approach, It was so sacred, A consecrated ground made for us.
The sky is always a deep blue with a few scattered clouds, The grass is nurtured a green with flowers, It was a never ending dream, a garden, Grown within our hearts.
No one could destroy that but us, The sun rose and it fell with you, The first thing I thought, in the morning, And you will always be in my dreams.
We distance our selves at first, It is the beginning of a friendship, Neither wants to take the leap, but we wait But I don't wish to leave it either.
So I work up the courage to take a step, The ball is in your court, Do you take the play, do you turn to walk, This is the beginnings of you and me.
