"Swirling stems of light streaking ..." - this line reminded me of the wonderful time-lapse pictures of the night sky where stars appear to create such 'stems' - wow-ful imagery skills

"Pinprick suns an infinity away" - this could be the opening line in a new Sci-fi book/movie - it is so eloquent - so lyrical - so impactful. Sublime.
