Wind Blossoms

Wind Blossoms

A Poem by Kitsue

The wind blows with serenity

The sun shines with peace

Together causing the blossoms

To dance upon air so sweet

Birds float on the currents

Insects lazily hover

On the gentle breeze

Of the worlds mother

Alighted on the breast

Of the gentle waves

Petals dance care-freely

While the fish beneath play

No sound breaks the silence

Of the warm spring day

Even as the birds flutter about

And the trees gently sway

Animals nap quietly

In the cool shade of trees

Their blossoms falling about

Along with green leaves

Nature and her beauty

Cast a spell with the blooms

From death comes birth

And the creatures boom

When summer arrives

This scene will be done

But I'll wait for another year

As I did for this one
